Enjoy the amusements, attractions, and nightlife around the Lakes Region, and dining at the local restaurants. Take advantage of boating, swimming, jet-skiing, and fishing during the summer including the world-famous lake sandbar, and skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, and snowmobiling during the winter.
In the fall, this home is nestled among the striking foliage colors. Hiking the trails is a year-round benefit. Also take advantage of NH Tax-free shopping, including local artisan shops, retail stores, and the nearby Tanger Outlets. Be sure to check the NH Lakes Region ( calendars for local event dates including fairs, festivals, entertainment, boat cruises, zip-lines, and the concert schedule at the nearby Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford.
In the Winter: Snowmobile trails for miles, zip across the lake for a nice morning breakfast at Waterstreet Grille. Ice fishing for days and lots of ice activities on neighboring lakes which is just a short drive.

My family and I had such a wonderful time on Lake Winisquam. Such a beautiful home and setting! We rented a boat for a few days and the dock was right there. Jen and Kurt where so helpful. Kurt went with us to pick up the boat and explained areas on the lake for us and helped us dock since it was our first time. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so easy. We were also welcomed by there dog Basil, who we just fell in love with. We miss it already. Can’t wait to come back next year. I highly recomend staying at this beautiful place.

Stayed at Boathouse point for a bachelor’s getaway on Lake Winnisquam and it was an amazing weekend. The house, the lake, the view and the hospitality exceeded our expectations. The house is in a perfect location, has direct access to a dock on the lake and the outdoor space/amenities were perfect. Kurt, Jen, and Basil were amazing hosts, truly genuine and wholesome people. We could not have imagined a better weekend, Thank you Boathouse point!
We had an awesome time at Kurt and Jennifer’s lake house. The location right on the water is perfect and has an amazing view. Kurt and Jennifer were extremely accommodating and hospitable – we really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely stay here again!
Jen and Kurt’s place was better than described. The amazing sunrises and views from every room are indescribable! We were welcomed by an already decorated home for a perfect milestone birthday weekend. Thank you for helping us to make it special!
We had a wonderful time staying at Kurt’s place. He and Jennifer were great hosts and it was really nice to get to know them (and their very friendly dog Basil). The location and indoor/outdoor amenities of the house are just perfect. We spent as much time as possible on the back patio and also rented a pontoon boat for a couple days to get out on the lake. They let us keep it right on the dock so it was super accessible. So much to do in the surrounding areas including Meredith, Tilton and Laconia. You must also check out Moulton Farm and try the freshly made apple cider donuts. Overall, just wonderful. We will definitely be back.
We had an incredible weekend at BoatHouse Point – better than we could have ever expected, and our expectations were high coming in. The location and views are amazing and the house itself is spectacular and the perfect place to spend a ski weekend, but the hospitality from our hosts is what really put this over the top.
From the basket of local treats, to the local tips / insight, to the incredible attention to detail and overall communication – this was the best experience I’ve had with renting a place and would highly recommend to anyone. We will be back!
